Heartland CARES will be holding a training for those interested in becoming a Rapid HIV tester on Wednesday, June 7 from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM in Paducah, location to be determined. Light snacks will be provided. Registration and completion of approximately 6 hours of prerequisite courses is required. Outreach Ministries for the Healing of AIDS (OMHA), a partnership of seven predominantly African American Churches in  the Paducah area, hosted a program in recognition of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day that took place on February 11.
